I served as an advisor for BBC's Cloud Lab - looking for tardigrades in the upper atmosphere and testing the hypothesis that these creatures are dispersed by global wind patterns.
I volunteer at the Durham Museum of Life and Science's annual 'Cocktails and Cosmonauts' event. I show people live tardigrades and teach them about ongoing efforts in space biology.
